Custom Orders

Hello People!

In case anyone was wondering, I do custom orders as well! In fact, right now I'm making a Tom Baker era Doctor Who scarf! Today is day 1 on the making of that scarf. With the length of this replica, it's gonna take a lot of yarn! The original was 11 feet. That's CRAZY! I don't know if I'll get it to 11 feet, but it will be pretty darn close! 

Anyway, if anybody out there is dreaming up scarves, hats, or other random knitted or crocheted stuff, but don't want to take the time and effort to make it themselves, let me know and we'll work out a price and time frame. 

I've always wanted to make a Harry Potter scarf. Or that gorgeous scarf that Jason Mraz was wearing in the Tonight, Not Again DVD. :)

My First Sale and More!!!!!!

Hey People!

Guess What!!!!!

I made my first sale on Etsy!!!! YAY!!! I'm very excited! I already shipped it out and it's off to it's new home! Also, it was a rainbow beanie, which means that 20% of the proceeds will be going to Sayre's GSA! Double YAY!!!

I had trouble capturing it's true color in the photos. I would say that it's most like the first picture, but it does seem just a little bit deeper and perhaps brighter. Overall it's more green than it looks in the pictures! It is very pretty!

Hey Ya'll,

Just a heads up that I'll be adding more items soon! There's at least one more hat coming, a dark forest green beanie.

I'm open to suggests for other items to make and sell, as well. Just drop me a note via comment, email, or on Etsy. I can do more rainbow stuff, or less rainbow stuff, whatever you all want to see more of!

I'll have to purchase some more yarn soon, so if there are particular color's you'd like to see let me know!

Rainbow Scarves Special Announcement!

Hey everybody!

I've been making these rainbow scarves for about a year now. I started making them for friends and family and they seem to be a big hit. As you probably know, the rainbow is a symbol for the LGBTQ community. Since I'm a big supporter of all things LOVE, I'll be giving a portion of the proceeds to the Sayre School Gay-Straight Alliance in Lexington, Kentucky. I went to middle school and high school at Sayre and it's a great place and their GSA does some really wonderful things.

Hats!

Hey peeps!

There's officially a hat listed in my Etsy shop. Don't worry, this will not be the only hat. I plan to make more! The first hat took me a couple of hours to make-- so no need to fight over the hats-- more will be available soon! When I was taking pictures for the listing, I took this picture of myself wearing the hat:

I'm not sure what it is about this picture that I find interesting; perhaps the whimsical curl in my hair or the curiosity in my eyes, or maybe just the fabulous hat that I'm hearing, but there was something about this photo that I found appealing.

In my very humble opinion, I think the ear warmer from the last link is the most comfortable thing that I've ever had on my head! It's great! I plan on making more of them.

This scarf is also wonderfully comfy! It's also very pretty. It took me about 20 hours (give or take) to make it.
